About Library
CCS Library is most lively place in the college that enables learning & advancement of knowledge. It has been methodically developed the collection of books and journals right from inception. It rich in collections which consist of Text books, Reference books, Journals, Technical Magazines, General books, Books for competitive exam etc. it also subscribes e-journals packages of E-Granthalaya Library and Information Management Software.
The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). enables library users to search the book database by Title, Author and Publication etc. Library Processes Dewey Decimal Classification System.

Library Rules
- Library Timing is 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. (1st and 3rd Saturday closed)
- The library will remain closed on general and national holidays.
- Students must fill the Name, Class, Branch, Roll No. and IN and OUT time in ‘Student Entry Register’ kept at the entrance of the Library.
- Staff members must fill the Name, designation, Department and IN and OUT time in ‘Staff Entry Register’ kept at the entrance of the Library.
- Chairs and Tables should not be disturbed from their position.Use of mobile phone is prohibited in the Library. Any violation will be penalized by fine of Rs. 100/-
- Students must always carry their College Identity Card/library membership card with them while using the library facility. They have to show the same whenever asked by the library staff.
- The readers are required to maintain silence and discipline in the library.
- Download of any undesirable e-resources shall not be allowed and punishable if violated.
- The library staff may expel any student if he/she is violating the rules
- Library Staff is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings of the students/faculty members.
- The Library Attendants at the entrance are authorized to examine all books/ Material passing into or out of the Library.
- Students should reserve their home lending books one day prior to their allotted days.
- Home Lending Books will be issued for seven days on Library Card. Rs. 5/- per day fine for late submission of book.
- One Reference book at a time will be issued for same day on Identity Card. Rs. 5/- per day fine for late submission of book.
- Previous years question papers. Magazines/Journals, books in the reference section will be issued in the library only against depositing of identity Card.
- To maintain smooth functioning of the Library, the Library Committee and Librarian may restrict use of facilities as necessary
- Important Notices and information regarding the Library will be notified on the Library Notice Board.
- Students can also write their suggestions in the register available in library.
- The loss of ID/Library card should be reported immediately to the librarian and Admin office.
- In case loss of books, it should be immediately reported to the Librarian with an application. The decision of appropriate fine will be decided by authorities. will be binding on the student.

Q.1 How long am I entitled to issue the book and can I renew it?

Nobody is allowed to borrow books from the Library on someone else’s card.
Q.6 How do I get books and journals Xerox in Library? What portion can be xeroxed?
CCS College Library provides Xerox facility to its users. The charge for an A4 size Xerox page is Re. 1/-. Entire book/document is not allowed to be xeroxed. Periodical articles can be xerox.
Q.7 Can I upload my own software or personal files on the Library PCs?
This is strictly prohibited.
Q.8 Can I use the Library terminal to access email and chat?
Library workstations are intended only for searching the Library Catalogue, Database and access of electronic resources, hence personal use of the same is strictly prohibited.
Q.9 Can I copy Question papers from the Intranet?
Yes, you can.
Q.10 I like to use pencil for notation, is this considered as damage?
Any form of marking or writing in a book, whether it is with pencil or pen, is not permitted. Folding of corners of book is also prohibited. Anyone vandalizing a book in this way is liable to be charged a fine to cover the cost of book and also can be banned from using Library.

Q.14 In case I have lost my Library card?
Loss of the Library card should be immediately reported to the Library membership/ registration desk. The duplicate card shall be issued on the payment of Rs. 50/-.

On demand reference service provided to the students & faculty members by using open source on internet and reference books.
Circulation
Issue & return of reading material such as books, journal & periodicals, project reports, multimedia, etc.
Internet Facility for e-Resources
Ten dedicated computers with internet connection are provided to the students and faculty members for using the e-resources such as e-journals, online digital library etc.
Inter-Library Loan Service
The Institute has memberships with National Digital Library and Jayakar Library, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.
Literature Search Service
It is a service through which relevant research articles will be searched by IBMR Library staff and will be sending to you through email.
Newspaper clipping Service
Maintain Newspaper clipping file for up-to-date record of information regarding new trend in education.
Information Display and notification
Library information such as new arrivals, library rules, list of journals, notices, news paper clipping, FAQ, etc. are regularly displayed on the Library Notice Board.
